1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RankedIn ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RankedIn is a career analytics platform that processes LinkedIn data exports provided by users and surfaces career scores, network metrics, peer benchmarks, and AI-generated insights. The Service also provides a REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for programmatic access.

3. Your Data

You retain full ownership of the LinkedIn data you upload. By uploading data, you grant RankedIn a limited license to process and analyse that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload data that does not belong to you
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the API or MCP server to build competing services without prior written consent
  • Circumvent any authentication, rate limiting, or security measures
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the file processing pipeline

5. API & MCP Access

API keys and OAuth tokens grant access to your account data. Keep them confidential. You are responsible for all activity performed using your credentials. We reserve the right to revoke keys that violate these terms or are used in an abusive manner.

6. Intellectual Property

The RankedIn platform, including its design, code, and AI-generated insights, is owned by RankedIn and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Career scores, benchmarks, and AI recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional career advice. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankedIn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
