How it works
Three steps, using data you already own.
- Step 1
Export your LinkedIn data
In LinkedIn, go to Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data and request your archive. LinkedIn emails you a ZIP file. A basic archive can arrive within minutes; a complete one can take up to about 24 hours.
- Step 2
Upload it securely to rankedin
Create a free account and upload the ZIP exactly as LinkedIn sent it. You never share your LinkedIn password with rankedin.
- Step 3
Get your analysis and action plan
Your analysis is usually ready in about a minute: scores, AI resilience, network insights and the first steps of your Career Action Plan.
Privacy and control
rankedin uses your authorized LinkedIn export. It does not scrape LinkedIn, post on your behalf, alter your account, or expose individual connection details.

- Does rankedin scrape LinkedIn?
- No. rankedin works only from the data export you request from LinkedIn and choose to upload. It does not scrape LinkedIn, post on your behalf or change anything in your LinkedIn account. rankedin is independent and is not affiliated with LinkedIn.
- What LinkedIn data do I need?
- The ZIP file LinkedIn sends you after you request a copy of your data (Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data). The complete archive gives the fullest analysis. Upload the ZIP as it arrives; there is no need to unzip or edit it.
- What will I learn from my analysis?
- How strong your profile is across eight dimensions and what to improve first; your AI Resilience Score with the skills behind it; how your network is built, how it has grown and which industries it reaches; how you compare with peers where enough comparable data exists; and a short Career Action Plan you can start straight away.
- Is my data private?
- Your analysis belongs to your account. rankedin does not sell your data or use it for advertising, and your individual connections are never shown to other users. Your results page can be opened by anyone who has its unique link, but it is kept out of search engines unless you choose to make a career card discoverable. You can delete your account and its data at any time. The privacy policy has the full detail.
- Can I use rankedin through ChatGPT or Claude?
- Yes. You can connect your rankedin account to ChatGPT or Claude and ask about your own analysis in conversation. Access is read-only, limited to your own account, and can be revoked at any time. Setup steps are in the rankedin documentation.
